Since their wedding was planned for November, they searched for a warm and scenic location—and Sicily quickly stood out as the ideal place for their dream wedding.

Planning a wedding in Sicily from the United States initially felt overwhelming. Unsure where to begin, Sydney discovered Anna Vlasiuk’s photography and immediately fell in love with the photographs. As an English-speaking wedding photographer in Sicily with a focus on destination weddings, Anna provided suggestions, and support throughout all the process. She introduced the couple to the beauty of Scopello, a stunning seaside village known for its dramatic coastline. Sydney and Trent chose a villa by the ocean for their Scopello wedding, perfectly suited for an intimate and elegant celebration.

Sydney and Trent, along with their families, traveled nearly 20 hours from the United States to Palermo to gather for their destination wedding in Sicily. They arrived a few days early to settle in and adjust to the time difference. The days leading up to the wedding were filled with sunshine and clear blue skies.

On the wedding day, rain briefly surprised everyone. Just in time for the ceremony, the skies cleared, revealing blue skies and dramatic winds.
